After holding its first webinar on how to empower citizens into local heroes, SMARTEES continues its series with a second webinar to discuss patterns of successful energy and mobility transitions, take stock of experience, and re-think the way we design and implement local policies. This event is of interest for local governments and organised citizens, as well as for researchers, entrepreneurs and any person interested in social innovation and energy/mobility transition.

This webinar will feature three speakers:

1. Dr. Giuseppe Pelligrini Masini (Postdoc Researcher, NTNU, Norway) will provide 9 recommendations on how to make socially innovative and successful policies.
2. Terry Albronda (Mobility Policy Developer, Municipality of Groningen, The Netherlands) will share his practical experience on institutionalizing local social innovation in mobility transitions in the city of Groningen.
3. Dr. Frances Sprei (Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden) providing an overview of the key messages of the previous presentations as well as complementary insights for local government policy-thinking and policy-design.
