Join an upcoming CIVITAS webinar on 15 June, 14:00 – 15:00 CEST, that looks at how two CIVITAS cities have taken their bike-sharing schemes to another level.

In CIVITAS DESTINATIONS, the bike-sharing scheme of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) demonstrates how EU-funding can help create a brand new, digital-based, sustainable mobility service in a city.

The city of Turku’s (Finland) bike-sharing scheme broke new ground in various ways, for instance its ticketing procedures, its year-round functioning, and tendering. Turku is one of the five Living Labs in CIVITAS ECCENTRIC.

Presentations on each example will provide a glimpse of bike-sharing’s potential and the different forms it can take in wholly different locations.
