1. Insights from Energy Transition Index (ETI) 2020 Benchmarking energy systems across countries is challenging, given the structural and institutional differences, and diverse country-specific priorities on energy transition. The World Economic Forum (WEF)’s ETI establishes a unique and inclusive framework and leverages a rich fact-base to increase transparency on the progress on energy transition. This presentation will cover insights from the latest version of the ETI launched recently, highlight the implications for AMS, and discuss disruptions from COVID-19.
Speaker: Mr. Harsh Vijay Singh Harsh is a Project Lead at WEF, where he leads research, thought leadership, and stakeholder engagement for a global program to accelerate the energy transition. He has an inter-disciplinary background in the various roles energy sector over 10 years, as Strategic Marketing Manager for South Asia region at GE Power, as an empirical policy researcher on industrial energy efficiency at Abdul Lateef Jameel Poverty Action Lab, and on developing off-grid electrification business models at Husk Power Systems in India.

Enhancing the Cyber Resilience of Critical Electricity Infrastructure Cyber resilience is a challenge for all organisations and is particularly significant for the electricity ecosystem since large-scale incidents, such as blackouts, have socio-economic ramifications for households, businesses, and vital institutions. This presentation will cover insights from the global community on how to enhance the cyber resilience of critical electricity infrastructure through strategy and culture, policy, and the global supply chain.
Speaker: Miss Louise Anderson Louise Anderson has been leading the Electricity Industry within the WEF since 2017. She has been leading the ‘Systems of Cyber Resilience: Electricity’ community since its inauguration in 2018. Before that, she gained experience across the electricity value chain from generation to transmission to European electricity markets.
